Meet Caragh
Caragh Reilly | NCCMT
Once upon a time I was working a corporate gig in advertising and daydreaming about dogs. But when I adopted my shepherd mix Oscar, I went from dog lover to dog obsessed! Wanting to fill my days with all things dog, I left my job to build a dream career in canine wellness. Much training later, I’m living my passion by helping to keep your dog well and wagging. And when I'm not busy massaging dogs, I love to volunteer within the Chicago animal rescue community - rescued is my favorite breed.
I received my canine massage certification through the Chicago School of Canine Massage, now Canis Bodyworks, in 2017, and am nationally certified through the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage (NBCAAM). Since launching my business, I have worked with hundreds of pets and provided thousands of hours of hands-on care.
I have training in advanced post-surgical, edema management, tendon & ligament healing, and oncology techniques and am a certified FearFree professional committed to low-stress handling and positive touch experience. I am also trained in canine aquatics and am certified in Pet First Aid & CPR.
I am an instructor with Canis Bodyworks, as I’m inspired to help others pursue their passions just as I did. I also act as the Booker Fund Director for the Live Like Roo Foundation, a non-profit organization providing financial and emotional support to families with pets facing a cancer diagnosis.
Therapeutic canine massage has powerful benefits for dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. I hope you will give me a call or send me a message to discuss how canine massage & bodywork can help keep your dog well and wagging.
